Synthesis and Fabrication of Polyvinyl Alcohol Nanofibers Based Capacitive Relative Humidity Sensor

 Abstract
 Capacitive humidity sensor based on Polyvinyl-alcohol (PVA) electrospun nanofibers was fabricated. PVA were synthesized through versatile electrospinning technique. The heat treated and characterized via Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) thermogravimetric Analyzer (TGA) for structural, morphological thermal properties. fibers of admirable structure selected deposited over interdigitated alumina electrodes the investigation Relative Humidity (RH) sensing characteristics. variation in capacitance with RH measured 48pf at 32-92% RH. dynamic response study confirmed durability stability sensor. material exhibited quick recovery time takes 13.27 seconds to measure maximum value. Thus, proposed has potential possible application devices.
